My outfit for the Sunday at ACL was top & hat: H&M
Skirt & Sunglasses: Urban outfitters
Necklace: Mérida handcrafted shakira necklace
Yeah, that’s the legend of the city #KeepAustinWeird
This was a trip full of adventures, outdoors and indoors (with this I mean bars). We went to Austin for the ACL festival.
Here goes my list of what I highly recommend you to do/eat/go in Austin:
Where to eat
Hopdoddys – The two hours line is worth it for the Ahi tuna burger 🙂
Frank hot dogs – In the middle of downtown, huge hot dogs
G’Raj Mahal – Indian restaurant, be prepared for one hour waiting time (this was my favorite)
Outdoors activities
Rent a Kayak at Zilker park and you can either go to the lake or to the river all across the city
Go to Barton springs pool
Rent a Electrical bike and do the 10 miles trail around Lady bird lake
Go hiking at Mount Bonell
Run all around the new Boardwalk
Get into a bike taxi around down town
Go to the graffiti park
Go to the “I love you so much” graffiti wall at SoCo
Go to Alamo drafthouse cinema, great experience, beers and food!
And we enjoy Austin at night too, we fell for Bangers deeply, actually almost everything at rainey street.
But you should try these places too:
ABGB – Craft beer and food at a great place
The Highball – live ball music with a dance floor, try it after a movie in Alamo draft house Lamar!
PBS punch bowl social – great place to have a beer while you are bowling, playing with darts, ping pong, etc
Spiderhouse cafe – great if you want a christmas backyard kind of coffee to work or have a beer.
6th street is very popular for bars too.
I hope this be helpful to you anytime you go to Austin 🙂
